Internet as an expression and extension of public space

AbstractInternet is, at the same time, a part of the public space and a part of the public sphere, understood in terms defined by Habermas. In web sites and other spaces of the Network of networks, there is an intense and open political and ideological socialization process. Simultaneously, there are still important limitations to the prominent contribution of the Internet in the publics affairs’s deliberation.
