Undergraduate Business Administration courses in the Northeastern Brazilian state of Sergipe were analyzed by a structured interview using a questionnaire to compare the perception of students in four institutions of higher learning. The quantitative survey, of both an exploratory and descriptive nature, concerned the self-evaluation of 196 students and the adequacy of professional preparation, teaching conditions and teaching, research and extension resources. Students reported that class work was not closely related to business practice indicating that constant attention is required to make teaching more effective.Downloads
