Abstract

This interview took place at the Discovery Programme, Dublin, on 25th September 2014. Edel Bhreathnach discussed the state-of-art in Early
Irish Medieval History and her opinions about the Irish educational system
and the future of Irish Medieval Studies. She also provides some hints about the directions she is taking with her own research projects.

    Elaine C.S. Pereira Farrell holds a doctorate degree from the University College Dublin and is currently a Research Assistant at Trinity College Dublin working on the project
    “Monastic Ireland: Landscape and Settlement” funded by the Irish Research Council. She is also a member of Translatio Studii – Dimensões do Medievo, LABEAM – Laboratório
