    Heleno Godoy is a Brazilian professor and writer. He holds a degree in Letters from the Catholic University of Goiás (UCG), a Master of Arts from the University of Tulsa (Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA) and a PhD in Linguistics and Literary Studies in English from the University of São Paulo. He was Professor of English Literature at the Faculty of Letters of the Federal University of Goiás (UFG) from 1985 to 2015. He was associate professor of Critical Theory and Portuguese Language Literature at the Department of Letters at UCG, in undergraduate and graduate courses, from 1976 to 2008. He has already collaborated with Revista de Contos Bestiário, in the translation of the short story “A Aliança”, by Irish writer Bryan MacMahon.
