Abstract

The objective of the present work was to study the effect of Triacontanol and Agrostemmin on rice seeds by evalluating germination, coleoptile and seedling root growing, under laboratory conditions. The Petri dishes received 10 ml of solution (ether and benzene) for Triacontanol treatments and distilled water for the Agrostemmin treatments. Results showed that the treatments does not present significant effects in relation to germination percent but a statistically significant effect with respect to seedling root growing was observed.
