Abstract

Este artigo pretende fazer um exercício de apontamento sobre os temas que podem contribuir para a construção da pauta ambiental. Numa tentativa de compreensão da formação da notícia ambiental no jornalismo, este artigo trabalha com conceitos sobre meio ambiente que permeiam o campo da Sociologia e da Comunicação, enfatizando o papel desta última ciência na divulgação de tais notícias. Buscamos também apontar a especialização dos profissionais de jornalismo que cobrem os temas ambientais. Por fim, tentaremos apontar como a formação jornalística pode contribuir para qualificação da abordagem da pauta ambiental na mídia
