Twenty adult thoroughbred horses wereinvestigated for neutrophil glucose-6-phosphate
dehydrogenase and 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase
specific activities which were found to be 945 ± 288
-1 -1 mlU mg of protein and 375 ± 88 mlU mg of protein
respectively, per minute at 37 °C.
