Study of occurrence of salmonelas in feedstuffs, feeds and dust swabs in feed mill

This research was carried out to detect salmonela in feedstuffs (136 samples), feeds (43) and dust swabs (110) from a feed mill. Salmonela was not detected in dust swabs samples. For feedstuffs, 19.85% were positive, with highest values observed from animal by-products (50%), dairy by-products (7.5%), 12.5% for other feedstuffs and 4.65% for complete feeds.Downloads
