Keywords:Heart, Coronary vessels, Wild animals
AbstractTwenty eight wild boar were studied, in order to observe the frequency, width and location of myocardial bridges. For the gross anatomical study, the coronary arteries of the heart had injected with a stained Neoprene "450" Latex solution; submitted to fixation whit 10% formol solution and dissection. Myocardial bridges were found in 57,14% of hearts the studied mean widths value was 1,47 cm and usually the bridges were located in the ventral portions (30,76%), and dorsal (26,92%) on the left and right coronary arteries.
