Abstract

In this paper, one hundred and eleven gestational periods in thoroughbred mares were diagnosed by the ultrasound technique 14 days after the last mating and followed up to 50 days. The increase in size, changes in the shape of the embryonic vesicle the embryo observation and other parameters of importance for the correct evaluation of the gestacional status are described.
