Transmediation in Brazilian Television Fiction: Products and possibilities

The review provides an overview of the book Estratégias de transmidiação na ficção televisiva brasileira, which is the result of researches conducted in 2012 and 2013 by researchers from Brazilian Obitel (Ibero-American Television Fiction Observatory). In this paper, we focus on some aspects of the different approaches brought by the researchers about transmediation strategies in Brazilian television fiction production; we also discuss some concepts that are important to understand the television production in the context of convergence.
