Comportamento de firmas industriais industriais em fluxos de conhecimento: uma análise para dois aglomerados produtivos

Resumo

A relação entre as condições para inovar das firmas e a proximidade geográfica pode apresentar-se de forma positiva, mas entende-se que os benefícios da proximidade não necessariamente impactam de forma homogênea e positiva nas condições de inovar de todas as firmas. Considerando isso, objetiva-se compreender a importância da proximidade geográfica para a geração de inovações tecnológicas de firmas de aglomerações produtivas. Para tanto, optou-se pela realização de uma investigação de campo comparativa entre duas aglomerações do segmento produtor de máquinas para calçados: um da Itália e outro do Brasil. Como principais resultados, destaca-se que as trocas de informações e de conhecimentos seguem lógicas distintas, sendo que o fluxo de conhecimento é menos denso que o de informações. Sendo assim, o conhecimento não está ‘difuso no ar’, mas flui seletivamente entre um grupo restrito de empresas que desempenham distintos papéis na rede de conhecimento, tais como: ‘absorvedoras’ e ‘fontes de conhecimento’.
