Este artigo começa por apresentar brevemente os Kakure Kirishitan e a sua composição única conhecida como Tenchi Hajimari no Koto. Depois, apresenta as quatro camadas da composição dessa obra, seguindo-se a apresentação de uma história, única a esta fonte, a que podemos chamar “o Homem Cego Que Matou Jesus Cristo”. Para terminar, discute as suas potenciais fontes, para provar que esta história não é uma invenção puramente japonesa.
