This text analizes Alexander von Humboldt‘s trajectory with the intention of investigate the contributions of Geography referring to the formation of the anthropologist thinking during the nineteenth century. The intentions are to focus on one hand to the thematics approached by Humboldt and Franz Boas in their studies universes. On the other hand more detainedly, possible influences for those theorical formulations as well as Humboldt‘s methodological procedures in Boas‘s anthropological works are tried to be pointed out.Downloads
