Resumo

As categorias do pensamento marxista não são inovações em Geografia. As razões pelas quais são raramente discutidas pertencem a dois tipos: 1) o relativo isolamento das chamadas "escolas nacionais" que ignoram frequentemente os avanços em outras línguas e 2) as ideias marxistas nunca alcançaram a marca de uma aprovação oficial.
