Contribuição à petrografia, geoquímica e geologia isotópica do Granito Itapuranga na porção central da Faixa Brasília

Resumo

O Granito Itapuranga localiza-se na porção central da Faixa Brasília, exibe formato alongado na direção E-W e está associado ao Lineamento dos Pirineus. Apresenta textura porfirítica em diferentes estágios deformacionais (protomilonito a ultramilonito), com mineralogia constituída de fenocristais de feldspato potássico em matriz quartzo-feldspática, associado a biotita e anfibólio, além de titanita, epídoto e zircão como minerais acessórios. Os dados geoquímicos revelam composição subalcalina de alto-K (shoshonítica) e metaluninosa, variando de quartzo sienito a sienogranito e monzogranito. As idades TDM Sm-Nd variam de 1,27 a 1,91 Ga com valores εNd(0) = -11 a -15, sugerindo fonte crustal mais antiga (Paleo a Mesoproterozoico). Esse magmatismo possui assinatura geoquímica do tipo-I e envolve processo de fracionamento, provavelmente de ambiente tardi-orogênico a pós-colisional. Os dados obtidos indicam que o Granito Itapuranga foi originado a partir da fusão parcial de uma crosta paleoproterozoica, interagindo com manto litosférico heterogêneo metassomatizado durante processo de subducção. Para essas interpretações, associa-se uma importante contribuição de fontes astenosféricas ligadas à colisão do Arco Magmático de Goiás a partir da fusão do manto por descompressão adiabática.
