Abstract

This article makes an deals with ethnographic research in nursing. It discusses the goal and the relevance of this kind of research the professional context. It includes also issues related to rigor and ethics. It points out basic aspects of participant-observation and ethnographic interview methods, and makes an overview of data collection, analysis and utilization of this data for culture description.
