Abstract

The study was performed within the phenomenological referendum following the modality of situated phenomenom in order to understand the experience of being the hospitalized adult patient's accompany. The phenomenological analyisis of 8 speeches led to 4 themes: "The Approach", "The Accompany", "The Feelings" and "The Changes in the Family' and Personal's Life". The purposes reveal the accompany, to be with the patient rises from the need to help him/her with physical limitation or dependence; give care, gratitude; give emotional support; transmit enthusiasm and optimism; identify and fulfill his/her needs; favor the comunication; observe and verify the assistance rendered and follow his/ her clinical evolution. The accompany was permeated by the preocupation and generated upsets all family.
