Abstract

Quality can make a difference in competitive markets. In recent years, this is true of the market for higher education. To search for this quality, attributes that determine the quality of a course and an institution of higher learning should be investigated. This study identified key aspects for construction of a quality image for educational services of institutions offering higher learning. The graduate programs in Administration in Joinville were considered to be of high quality according to the 63 attributes evaluated. It was found that the quality image of an institution of higher learning is based on the administration and resources available and value of the course for the labor market and teaching body. The main determinant for the quality of an institution of higher learning is related to the image of the institution in the community.
