An investigation undertaken in a primary forest of Santa Helena farm, Londrina county, Paraná, Brazil, recorded thirteen species of Phlebotominae sandflies. The main ones were Psychondopygus whitmani, Pintomyia fischeri and P. pessoai. The first one was predominant throughout the year while the seasonal behaviour was similar to three species. P. pessoai seems to be more suspectible to rain variation.Downloads
