The utilization of several anthropometric classifications to assess the nutritional status of two populations of children is described. The exclusive classification based on the loss of weight doesn't distinguish diversities of the nutritional status of urban children and rural children. Other classifications show differences and suggest epidemiologic pathways to the urban and rural context.Downloads
