Alimentary supplementation efficiency was assessed by follow-up of two groups of preschool age children of similar socio-economic status both attending and not attending CEAPE programs. The results showed that in the interior of the State of S. Paulo, Brazil, the program, notwithstanding low calorie supplementation and far-from-ideal operating conditions, produced nutritional effects detectable by means of the usual anthropometric indices.Downloads
