Abstract

Through hemoglobin determinations carried out in several phases of pregnancy, in 553 pregnant women casually chosen out of a number of 8120 within the period of 1947 to 1971, it was tested the feasibility of the hemoglobin curve previously constructed and its importance regarding diagnosis and control of treatment in patients with iron deficiency anemia.
