Discourses about sanitation, water supply, solid waste, urban drainage, and the relationship between sanitation, health and environment can be found in the scientific literature. There is a group of them based on the point of view of health promotion. Another one is based on the diseases prevention approach. Four collective discourses about the sanitation-health-environment relationship, captured in specific texts present in an electronic database, were analyzed. The results showed that the prevention point of view was predominant in this context.Downloads
