Literatura mundial, fronteiras de commodities e forma estética

Resumo

Este artigo aborda um comparativismo literário efetuado através da dinâmica de criação ambiental das fronteiras de commodities. Como a literatura-mundial está imbricada nesses movimentos? Como textos mediam a lógica das fronteiras de commodities e como essa mediação pode ser modificada de maneira diferente pelas ecologias políticas específicas do açúcar, café, petróleo ou da borracha? Este ângulo de abordagem literária ressoa com o apelo de Patricia Yaeger para que atentemos  aos recursos energéticos que tornam textos possíveis (2011). Ao responder a este apelo através da ótica da fronteira de commodities, procuro sublinhar a necessidade de compreender esses recursos em termos da lógica sistêmica e das relações estruturais do capitalismo como uma ecologia-mundial.
