Abstract

Celia De Fréine is a poet, translator, playwright and short story, non-fiction  and screenplay writer. Célia has published extensively and won several awards, among them the Patrick Kavanagh Award (1994), Best screenplay at the New York International Film Festival, (2009) and Arts Council of Ireland Grants (2013).

Author Biography

  • Gisele Wolkoff, Institute for Human and Social Sciences of the Federal Fluminense University
    Gisele Wolkoff teaches at the Institute for Human and Social Sciences of the Federal Fluminense University in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she is also a member of the Centre for Translation and Creation. Organizer of poetic anthologies, she is also a poet and translator. She is currently visiting scholar at the Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, Japan, where she develops research about contemporary poetry and translation.
