The characters naked neck and black plumage proved to be due to single genes in a group of chicks growing at the Poultry Department of "Luiz de Queiroz" School of Agriculture, Piracicaba, Brasil. The two characters segregate independently and the animals with known genetical constitution will be used in the formation of a local breed.Downloads
