NOTA SÔRE A INFECÇÃO NATURAL DE TRIATOMÍDEOS E DE CÃO PELO TRYPANOSOMA CRUZI, EM UMA ZONA DO RIO MOGI-GUAÇÚ MUNICÍPIOS DE SÃO SIMÃO E DE SÃO CARLOS, ESTADO DE SÃO PAULO

Abstract

The authors present a preliminary note on theirs investigations of Chagas disease, in a bordering region between São Simão and São Carlos townships, in the State of S. Paulo. They investigated two places, having found infected triatomas and a dog naturally infected. The triatomas, ali of them from the Triatoma infestans specie, showed themselves positive till a percentage of 80,5. The presence of Trypanosoma cruzi was demonstrated by the inoculation in nice.
