Abstract

In recent years syphilis has been increasing in several countries and health campaigns have always been conducted for this type of disease control. The aim of this study is to map the cases of syphilis coping communication campaigns, validated by international health organizations, such as the six Caribbean countries and territories, Cuba, Thailand, Belarus and the Republic of Moldova. Data were collected through keywords in the search databases Lilacs, Medline, Scielo and Google, where the titles were first observed. Subsequently, the abstracts were analyzed and, subsequently, articles with relevance to the study of the complete paper were selected. In the first movement, 892 articles were identified, after the analysis process, only six were selected as pertinent. We observed a low number of research related to the issue of the present study and, especially, regarding communication strategies.
