The article searchs to put forward the new way of the interpretation for the study of the development of the relations of the labour free in Campinas, among the years of the 1850-1888, have as at the start the person of the worker national, free and poor. Through of this study porsue poasibles attitudes and choices of this segment in the yours process of the to deal with and to experience the changes print for the transition in the relations of the life and work.
