A via crucis do corpo, book published in 1974, was the thirteenth published book of Clarice Lispector and his seventh of short stories. From this work, unusually presented by the author as commissioned, people emerge for the first time in the work of Lispector characters declared to be homosexual. The book, conceived as erotic, brings intertextual amalgams that build characters quite different from the usual Claricean work, although with the usual complexity. This article explores the emergence of this lesbian body in the work of the author, full of female characters and the representation of these women in literature in a repressive context of heteronormativity and misogyny, with the support of feminist critics and authors as Monique Wittig and Adrienne Rich. Clarice Lispector appears here not only as a canonical writer but as an artist who exercises her language in order to bring to the surface these characters so invisible (not only) in literature as a way of displacing an oppressive canon.
