Índice de pobreza: alternativas, decomposição e uso com dados agregados
Resumo
De modo geral, a mensuração da pobreza pode ser vista como consistindo de duas operações distintas, porém inter-relacionadas (Sen 1976, 1978, 1979): identificação (quem são os pobres?) e agregação (como se pode combinar características de pobreza de diferentes pessoas em uma medida agregativa, em um índice?).
