Abstract

This paper presents a literature review of the functional anatomy of the biceps braquialis muscle and discusses its role on the stabilization of the glenoumeral joint, based on eletromiographical and biomechanical studies as well as the clinical implications of its disfunction. A bibliographic review based upon international and national literature over the last year weas employed.
