During the age process the motor units suffer alterations that result in the reduction of muscular strenght wich in turn diminish motor performance. Our objective in this experimental analysis was to compare the maximum isometric muscular strength in four muscular groups. Our study group consisted of forty two healthy elderly individual between the ages of 60 to 80 years old forty two young adults between 19 to 25 years old. Through a study of miometry, we compare the muscular stregth between the two age groups, between the right and left members and between the masculine an feminine subjects.Downloads
