This article explores the different fronts of work promoted by Antonio Candido between 1961 and 1970, when he became the main professor, advisor and responsible for the area of Literary Theory and Comparative Literature at Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras of Universidade de São Paulo (USP), taking as a conductor thread two of his lectured courses: Critical analysis of the novel (1961), for fourth year students, and Poetical Analysis: Mário de Andrade, lectured at the TLLC Specialization course.Downloads
