Abstract

Literature on organizational behavior presents several studies referring to the learning concept applied to the context of organizations, however, its use lacks critical or systematic analyses. This study aimed to develop a conceptual analysis of the word learning that can justify its transposition to organizational studies. Ryle's conceptual analysis techniques were applied. As a result, the text demonstrates that the nature of the multifaceted learning concept favors the appearance of various definitions associated with it. Given the levels and dimensions discussed regarding the word learning, a more systematized use of the concept in organizational studies is expected.
