Abstract

Employing the frankfurtian concepts of "public" and "private," this paper begins by dealing with the issue of institutional psychoanalytical clinic in order to analyze the socio-cultural and historical aspects which were present at the foundation of psychoanalysis and which have made it a specific method for dealing with individuals private categories. The paper ends by suggesting the necessity of rethinking the utilization of psychoanalytical method dialectically to the current historical moment.
