Abstract

This article analyzes the concept of individual utilized by Adorno in the social critic which marked the Social Research Institute during the 40s. In order to do this, it studied many aphorisms of the Minima Moralia book. The main question is the possible relation between the annulment of individuality and the possibilities of resistance of the individual reported by the author. In this sense, concepts like individuality, monad, isolation, privilege, humiliation, moral duty, solidarity and resistance are analyzed.
