Abstract

The following text puts in circulation two of Lea Rudnitskis poems. She was born in Lithuania in 1916 and killed by the Nazis in 1943. The poet distinguished herself in resistance organizations and testified in her book Through mist the conviction of Jews impending annihilation that hit her as well as almost all her readers in that period. She wrote in Yiddish and both translations were made from this language.
