Abstract

This paper presents some elements to rethink teacher education using data from a ethnographic-type-of research developed in a public primary school in Rio de Janeiro. The study focus on domination and resistance interactions which appear in daily classroom experiences and points outs the relevance on understanding such relations to work through them.
