Abstract

One hundred and nineteen bovine pancreas infested with Eurytrema pancreaticum Janson 1889 were statistically compared in their weights through Pearson’s correlation. A positive correlation — significant at the 1% level — was found between worm numbers and pancreas weights of infested and not infested pancreas were compared by means of the normal distribution of probabilities of two independent averages significant difference was found.
