Experimental rabies in cattle. Central nervous system histopathology

Different Central Nervous System structures from cattles with experimental rabies were submited to histopathological examination. The results showed encephalitis or myelitis with the following distribution: Ammon’s horn 5 (25%), Cerebelum 10 (50%), Bulb 7(35%), Spinal Cord: cervical 17 (85%), dorsal 19 (95%), lombar 19 (95%) and sacrum 20 (100%). The authors did not find any evidence of intracytoplasmic inclusion body by the methods employed.
