We have observed that in the animals sacrified with one day old, the foramen ovale was pervious in 100% of them; two days old, in 16% of the animals; three days old, in 18% of the dogs; four days old, in 50% of the pups, and over six days old, the ductus venosus was anatomically closed in100% of the studied pups.
