Abstract

Clinical and epidemiological aspects of the contact dermatitis by Paederus are studied. This zoodermatosis is observed in many countries of the Ceará, State of Brasil, during the rainy season, specially at the months of april and may. The etiological agent of this disease is an insect of the generus Paederus. Two species were identified in the State: Paederus brasiliensis and Paederus columbinas.
