Abstract

This article presents reflections about the methodological process carried out by two researchers in the area of public health in search for contributions for their studies within ethnography. It also focuses on aspects of the ethnography in contemporary societies. From the field activities it depicts the construction of the researcher on the path of research, signaling some difficulties involved in trajectory. Thus this work suggests that the cooperation of the diverse kinds of knowledge is highly desirable given the complexity of the social phenomena of our time.
