O documentário e as artes visuais

Abstract

This paper examines some contemporary documentaries and other documentary works performed for the circuits of exhibition of Works of contemporary art. Our aim is to understand some movements and changes, inflections that involve the production of these works, insofar as they establish links with the events of the present and with the contingency of our time, defining a reality that has to do, most of the time, with political, emotional and social aspects that subvert certain practices of the documentaries. Our intention is to point out some questions on the specific field of the documentary on its relation with  the visual arts.
