Following the theoretical concepts developed by Vladimir Propp and A J. Greimas, and applying the models furnished by them, the authors try to find a mythic significance for the central character of Guimarães Rosa's O recado dò Marro and to detect in it a meaning which goes beyond the regional boundaries suggested by the plot and the denotative story.Downloads
