The systematization of the thymic vessels was analysed in 30 foetuses and newborn pigs. These vessels were dissected after injection of colored Neoprene Latex 450. The thymus thoracic portion was directly or indirectly irrigated by branches from the trunk braquiocephalic, subclavians, internal thoracics, superficial cervical arteries, as well as from the thyreocervical trunk. The total number of collateral vessels varied from two to nine, and three the most frequently found.Downloads
