This work points out to some elements that concern the conception of the letter Aleph in the Hebrew tradition. This letter is a parameter for thinking about translation based on the critique of rhythm developed by Henri Meschonnic, with contributions from Walter Benjamin and Gershom Scholem, regarding elements of language that are difficult to express. Sound and its repercussion as a position prior to the framework of supposedly knowable signs already give us a good prognosis of how much language is broader than language in its vernacular expression. The work is divided into three parts and its conclusion deals with the inheritance of Meschonnic's studies for the theory of translation in ancient languages.
