O sistema econômico e os meios de comunicação sistêmicos

Abstract

In this paper I discuss the idea of economic system. After some mentions to Smith’s, Marx’s and General Equilibrium Theory concepts of economic system, I look for another one based on the Habermas’s dual conceptualization of society, as life-world and system. Then, the economic system is understood as an institutionalized combination of two types of social interaction sets, namely, markets and organizations, which one are connected to a specific sistemic communication medium, respectively, money and power. Finaly, I try to integrate this kind of analysis to the cost of transaction economics and to the contested exchange theory.
